What does UCP mean in bearings ?
D1. C-UCP, CM-UCP (Cast iron covered bearing unit) C-UKP, CM-UKP (Cast iron covered bearing unit) A steel plate or
cast iron cover is fitted to the outside of the cast iron bearing
housing, effectively preventing entry of dust under usage
conditions with high levels of dust or moisture.
How do pillow block bearings work ?
Pillow block bearings are installed on a surface by driving a fastener through these small
holes. Pillow blocks work in the same way as most other bearings. The
shaft of a machine or object can be inserted into a pillow block
bearing to improve rotational movement.
